Whizzkidz Rugby  has been running successfully for over 7 years and I have been working in the computer field for the past 22 years. During this time I have gained a vast amount of specialist knowledge in the areas of computer graphics, programming, 3D modelling, virtual reality, Adobe PhotoShop, the Internet and interactive Multimedia CD-ROM  design. Additionally I am a college lecturer in the specialist areas of LightWave, PhotoShop, The Internet, Introduction to Computers and CLAIT (Computer Literacy and Information Technology).

One of the first elements we teach your child is touch typing. This helps them find their way around the keyboard in readiness for more technical applications.

Whizzkidz Classes get your children ready for the future by guiding them through    the latest computer technology in one hour lessons. The lessons are based on having fun while learning the core national curriculum    subjects plus developing skills in story development, art programs, desktop publishing, word processing, databases and  Web site design, along with an understanding of computers and keyboard skills.

These skills will be the mainstay of your child's adult working life and will give the head start needed to achieve their career goals. The lessons will be a great investment and an asset for the future.

Whizzkidz is based around teaching   children in pairs. Working interactively is far more stimulating and often leads to discussing an answer or strategy, or even healthy competition!

Classes are for small groups of children between the ages of 4 and 15, with regular assessment and progression to higher levels.

Every child that comes to Whizzkidz has an assessment/record card that is filled in as they progress. A new card is issued every four weeks and the old card may be taken home for his/her portfolio.  As your child becomes more proficient a test can be taken at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels for the   appropriate age group. Any certificates gained can be presented at school assembly.

Whizzkidz is not just for children. If you would like to learn more about computers then book for some lessons. These lessons range from an Introduction to Computers, which includes Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, to The     Internet and PhotoShop.
